When I moved to Tokyo at 20 I was immediately struck by the precision, elegance, and attention to detail embedded within Japanese style. I became drawn to clothing that felt considered rather than excessive. At the same time, I was surprised by the monochromatic feel of Japan, and the clothing of those I observed.

If you know me, you know I LOVE colour, so I wanted to redefine the Japanese style into my own. I started making pieces for myself on my friend's sewing machine, but I quickly realised my dream would be to share them with you all back home.

That creative process evolved into Ponderosa London - silhouettes designed to synthesise the tension between simplicity and expression.

Each design has come to life through months of meticulous development to ensure the fabrics, fit and constructions are intentional and flattering.
